6 LEGGED HORSE
Horse training, retraining and lessons.
Every moment with your horse is worth it.
OUR HERD
SNAPDRAGON
2013 Warmblood/Arab Mare
Snapdragon was born on our property in 2013 and has been Emily's mare since Day 1. She is about as sassy as they come but is willing and wants to please. She has been used for some kids' lessons in the past and knows how to just plod along with the littles.
PD (Painted Dirty)
2014 Paint Gelding
PD came to us in 2017. His specialties are jumping and trail riding. At only 15hh tall he's the perfect height for nervous beginners up to more experienced adults.
DAGDA
2014 Draft Geldimg
Dagda is a 17hh Percheron cross who joined the herd in 2019. After a refresher course on riding manners he went to work as a trail horse then quickly joined the lessons as a fan favorite. He's a gentle giant who loves to take care of his kids.
APRIL
2008 Hungarian Cross Mare
April is our sister, Elizabeth's, Hungarian Warmblood mare, who is currently back in with our little herd. She is one of the most enthusiastic horses you may ever meet, and maybe one of the smartest. She has been used for kids' lessons before, but is one of our more advanced level horses.
FRITZ
2007 Quarter Horse Gelding
Fritz is a semi-retired ranch horse who's done a little bit of everything. He came from Eastern WA where he spent most of his time working cattle on the ranch. He's loving his new routine with the kids and his new herd.
KAI
2015 Mustang Gelding
Kai joined our herd in 2017 and is our youngest sister, Hannah's, horse. He has a playful personality and loves to work, and he's steady enough for more beginner riders.
PENNY
1998 Arab/QH Mare
Penny came to us in October, 2005 as our cousin's first horse. She was one of our first projects and has taught us a lot over the years. She has been used as a 4-H horse in western and English, used extensively as a trail horse, done dressage and jumping, and even put up with us experimenting in trick riding. She is the dam of two of our family's horses who are just as sassy as she is. ;-)
SCHOONER
2008 Mini Gelding
Just as you would expect from a miniature horse, Schooner thinks he's in charge of his herd. He comes from a cart driving and show background. In his retirement, he specializes in driving and grooming lessons.
HICKORY
2000 Quarterhorse Mare
We first met Hickory in 2018 when she was part of the Girl Scouts of Western Washington herd. When GSWW closed their riding program we stayed in touch with her new owner, so when she came up for sale we brought her home. She is a solid addition to our lesson program where she is a favorite with new riders.
